    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class is just another intro course. Not too hard. Not too easy, Wastes alot of time due to lab sections.

    Course highlights:

General biology stuff. Cells. Plants. Animals. Tree of life. etc. Very intro level.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Pay attention in lecture and lab sections. Some test questions are straight from the post labs.

    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class is the first of three courses in the "Intro to Bio" series.

    Course highlights:

I genuinely enjoyed Prof Singer's teaching style (even though I know that there are people that did not). I also had a fantastic TA and I feel like I learned a lot from this class. The class really revolves around cellular function & metabolism.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

This class was difficult, but manageable. The best possible advice I can give is to do ALL of the reading and to review your notes. That's really it. This class is not about memorization but about understanding important concepts so simply just memorizing things won't cut it. And, of course, go to class. The entire BIS series relies on going to class as there will be info at lecture that you won't get anywhere else.
