Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class because it gives us an insight of the issues brought up by society that continues to exist. It is a way of showing us that such issues are what has brought about problems among different groups in society.

    Course highlights:

This course incorporated a few videos to help give a visual of what was being taught in class. As for the class itself, we learned about gender, race, social class and how that has affected the way society works. In addition to how many people lack equality and opportunity due to the differences in these categories.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

I would simply advise them to stay focused because there are a lot of vocabulary words mentioned. Not all are required to be remembered but it is still good to stay alert and pay attention. Majority of the class is common sense, so all it takes is for one to pay attention and participate.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I was struggling deciding what I wanted to do for college and this course set me down the right path! I loved learning about all aspects of sociology and finally deciding that this would be the major for me.

    Course highlights:

I liked how the course paper was broken down into multiple sections and how you were able to do it with a partner. I learned how important it was to do readings and staying on top of college work.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Definitely be able to commit the time. Its a five unit social science course that essentially has so many readings and writing.
