Not too easy. Not too difficult.
It's a great class if you are interested in international relations and you want to understand how they work! Make sure you keep up with the readings. This class is a little bit more intuitive so you need to tune into your sense of worldly knowledge to grasp the concepts.
They talk about WWI, WWII, terrorism, present tensions between countries. It is a very analytical course. The highlights were that you get a more in depth understanding of how to analyze political situations that you read about in the news.

Advice for students:
Do the readings! don't forget the readings. In class make sure you take notes on your laptop as the professor talks very fast. You will have two essays that involve knowledge of writing a political science paper. Don't hesitate to ask your ta on how to write a political science paper as it is an extremely picky process. I put 2 all nighters into both my essays and got about an 80 on both of them. Beware of the midterm, there is only one and most people fail. He does not curve and expects that you pick up the pace on the final.
