    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It is worthwhile and necessary to attend but I should warn you, this class is difficult. Stay up on materials because midterms come faster than usual.

    Course highlights:

You gain a broad grasp of the physical workings of most parts of the body and how they all work with one another to function.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Work hard, study hard, stay motivated. If you don't keep your drive up you will flunk out. If you take the course lightly in the beginning you may flunk out. Don't be a lazy student and you will be fine.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Very interesting class! You learn a lot about human physiology and anatomy. However, it requires a lot of time spent outside of class to really develop an understanding of the material. There are a lot of little details that make a huge difference in what goes on within the human body so it's important to pay attention to detail. The good thing about this course is that there is a lab that goes along with it so you can really apply what you learn in lecture to actual experiments but that just means you have to really know what you are doing in lab too.

    Course highlights:

You get to learn about your body and how it functions and how it is structured! It is a very great opportunity to get in depth information. You also get to pick what you want to really learn about. I chose to do my lab report on skeletal muscle! This was great because I got an in depth experience on skeletal muscle while I still learned about other functions of the body.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

I learned that just going to class will not suffice! You really have to put in the effort to try and grasp all of the information. You learn so much detail about all of the human organ systems such as their structure and function! It's all very fascinating. Make sure to ask questions, read extra material, use Course Hero, and go to office hours! If you are confused, it's because this material is confusing! Not because you are not capable of understanding but it really is a matter of utilizing your resources.
