    | Would recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Naziri was such a sweet lady. I wish I had taken more advantage of her office hours because she would go over topics more in depth at her office hours.

    Course highlights:

Taking this course was challenging yet very rewarding once I finished. Learning about o-chem is hard but working hard in class and knowing that there are many resources to help understand synthesis or methods are available.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Ask questions! Make sure you understand the basics very well because they carry on to the following courses.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This is a difficult course that needs a strict study schedule to do well. Ochem is a difficult subject but Professor Lievens does a good job explaining. Her exams tend to be on the more difficult side though. Study consistently and due plenty of practice exams and you should do fine.

    Course highlights:

I developed good study habits and test taking skills.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Study consistently and do plenty of problems. Don't get behind.
