    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The course was only 4 units, but it required a lot of tedious work. The midterms were also unfair in the fact that the information presented on them was not on the lecture slides.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to study for a rigorous exam as well as how to manipulate data for studies.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would recommend paying close attention in lecture and listening to the podcasts as this is where most of the exam material comes from.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

He is a fantastic professor and an entertaining lecturer. His exams are fair and he re-uses old exam material.

    Course highlights:

All of the information is interesting and will be useful when moving on to upper division classes.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you know the information in his lecture slides. Any picture of anatomy is fair game when it comes to exams.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class because you get to learn about the anatomy of different species and the professor really knows how to get his students engaged with the class with lectures and labs. The labs are very interesting and I look forward to them!

    Course highlights:

The highlights of the course were the labs because you get a lot of hands-on experience. It is an introduction to animal science course so you learn about the growth, reproduction and more about different species.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Go to all lectures and actively participate in labs. It is very essential to learning in this class and it covers all the basics of what you would learn in future animal science classes.
