This class was tough.
This couse was very intersting, but a lot of reading. I found all the readings to be interesting and educative but except to be reading around 300 pages a week. Hibel also gives you pop quizes on every reading, so reading is a mandatory part of your grade. He also gave great writing assignment prompts that let you use your imagination while using course information.
I loved learning about the gender inequalities between men and women when it came to education and how it effects us in the job market. Being a woman it is interesting to know that even males that have gender stereotyped majors in the job world. I thought that was an interesting take away. This course also dove into class and race educational inequalities and the research that supports it.
