Pretty easy, overall.
If you desire to delve into the history of Chicanos/as this is the course to take! You can learn more on the history, dating all the way back to the Mayans and Aztecs. It empowers pride in Latino heritage and respect of the struggles of our Chicano ancestors.
The best thing about the course was listening to the professor's lecture for the day. He speaks with passion on the subject and urges you to give your thoughts and questions in class. Also, the subjects covered through readings provoke thoughts that either interest you or move you.

Advice for students:
Read the required readings before lecture. Write down any thoughts, opinions, or questions and ask them during the group discussions. GO TO OFFICE HOURS! You never know what new knowledge you can come across. It also would be great to make connections in order to get help in/outside of class. Additionally, the professor or your classmates may help you out with about anything, you just need to ask.
