Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Professor Menke is a very caring teacher and would work hard to help you to succeed in the class. The way he approaches chemistry in his exclamation involves lots of discussion making things easy to understand since any confusion would be cleared up by classmates. I took the honors version of the course thus creating a smaller class size allowing this to be possible. Also this version of the course touch upon a programming program called Mathematica that gave an intro into programming and how it would be applied to chemistry.

    Course highlights:

The course covered Quantum Mechanics in terms of chemistry, atom structure and how they bond, the structure of the 4 states of matter, thermodynamics, and enthalpy. The course basically gives a general analysis on atoms and how they interact in different ways.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Memorizing basic laws and theories are essential to the class. Knowing them will allow to deal with any problem addressed in the class.
