Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Vidensek is an amazing professor. The only down side to him is that he uses a lot of large worlds to explain what he already knows. But, he is very helpful and he genuinely does want you to pass the class. The class itself just a more elaborate review of the chemistry that you learned in high school. Not much of it is new material.

    Course highlights:

I will tell you know that Chemistry is NOT my best or favorite subject, however, I still passed the course. In fact, I think that I learned a lot more from Vidensek than from my Chemistry teacher in high school. He does a really good job during his lecture in relaying the information and he always has the powerpoint uploaded before class starts. He goes through the problems and the calculation during the lecture and will work it out on paper if you're still confused.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    1. If he says "know how to do this problem before you leave class" you best learn how to do it. 2. DO THE PRACTICE PROBLEMS. They are not mandatory but your quizzes in discussion are based off of the practice problems from the book. 3. Go to office hours if you are struggling. He will help you. 4. He does not curve grades. If you have a 69.9%, you still get a D+. 5. His grades are only quiz, midterm, and final based. There are no homework assignments so make sure that you study and find help if you need it. 6. Attend the lectures. He gives valuable information to students who come.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Definitely recommend this course, although it may be a requirement it is a challenging course that will teach you lots about science. (Things no covered in HS)

    Course highlights:

I fully learned all the concepts of chemistry. High School was definitely not as exact as this course.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Review your notes every night, make you understand every concept because it builds up and you do not want to be behind!
