    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I wouldn't recommend this course because the professor goes way too fast. He also teaches the course with a philosophical view wich only confuses a lot of students, because we do not know what way to approach the information.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course was the hard facts, such as learning the structure of the brain.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

If you take this curse you have to attend office hours after his class to be able to understand what he meant through out his lecture. Also review your notes on the daily.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

If you are interested in the mind and how it works within all the different disciplines of linguistics, philosophy, psychology, neuroscience, and computer science, then this class is definitely one to take.

    Course highlights:

Spivey is a very entertaining lecturer most of the time, but he definitely produces a lot of motivation to go out and learn more on your own. I learned so much about the brain and experiments that have given us a lot of headway into understanding how the mind works.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Try your best, go to all your discussions, make study groups, pay attention in lecture, read the assigned readings, you'll do fine if you do all that.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I think it is a really interesting class about the mind and what it is capable of as well as explaining why we experience certain phenomena it's a bit to remember for test but is not all that bad just attend class, take notes, and study. Read some of the text book.

    Course highlights:

Much about the mind one highlight was illusions and how they work by tricking your mind and eyes

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Take down notes and give 100% attention to lectures and disccusion don't panic on the midterm and final. P.S the midterm and final are basically your whole grade so take them seriously.
