Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This is the most basic computer science class where you learn the basics of coding. The course is interesting for people with no background in computer science but still have an interest in it, however this class would not be fun for people who either already know how to code, or have no interest in coding at all.

    Course highlights:

You learn how to program in Java, which is a decent beginner coding language, as well as learning basic loops and algorithms that will be crucial to understanding other courses.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

If you don't understand the course, do the readings. Bring as many notes including all your labs and projects to the midterm and final. As long as you do all your labs and projects, the exams will not damage your grade to an extreme if you perform poorly.
