    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Lectures do not correspond with the lab at all. I believe we were a lecture or two behind so we were literally doing labs on stuff that weren't discussed in class yet. Therefore, do your readings!

    Course highlights:

This course is definitely a pre-req for Bio and Chem majors. Things that I weren't able to understand in Chem001, I actually understood in Chem002 because the instructor was very thorough in his teaching.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the readings, practice questions, and form study groups to study for the final and midterms! I found that study groups helped me a lot for this class. The quizzes were also quite difficult and were the only things that hurted my grade. Quizzes are given in lab.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course is very helpful and the professor shows passion for the subject. This course also allows for an even deeper understanding of general chemistry.

    Course highlights:

In this course, the thing I remember most were acid-base titrations. This subject was a bit difficult for me to understand in high school, but I understood it well in this course, especially since the labs were very thorough.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would advise to definitely study for the exams and quizzes, they are not too difficult but studying will get you a better grade. And definitely, do well on your labs since they account for a major part of your grade.
