    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I highly recommend this course! It is engaging and teaches you many important life skills. Area and perimeter are vital to building a future home someday. Scale is vital to making sure you build your future daughter's surprise dollhouse just right. The skills taught are important!

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course are definitely slope, functions and basic math principles, and the increased geometry practice. Functions and basic math principles have been vital to my budget. Having these tools makes it so much easier to balance my checkbook or to prepare a budget. Geometry practice has been great because it helped my when my dad and I were completing building projects. All the information learned is super helpful! Slope has been useful in blueprint plotting as well. It helps us to know how much material we need to finish the job.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Lots of time and dedication is needed to succeed in Algebra II. It is a very hands-on course and requires lots of effort in order to be fulfilling. The formulas are important to memorize. Study, study, and study some more. The formulas are crucial to solving the problems. Quizzes and tests don't usually hand the formulas to you. Memorize them so that they become second nature for you. Also, don't be afraid to ask questions. Math is hard. Your teachers are their to help you! There is no shame in coming to a teacher and asking about something that you don't fully understand.
