    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Coles is a fantastic instructor who understands Psychology and puts it in a way that makes sense. Tests are brutal, 100 question multiple choice that you HAVE to study for, but he throws out questions too many people miss. I wouldn't recommend missing this class, but not because you'll lose out on the material. What you lose is the discussion, Dr. Coles doesn't lecture so much as he invites. He invites you to talk about it, about situations and tells stories to help cement concepts in your mind. Easily one of the most engaging classes I have ever attended.

    Course highlights:

A thorough understanding of the basics of psychology. How to study, and Heart Math.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Study. There are NO STUDY GUIDES. You must read the chapters before the lecture otherwise the discussions make little sense and you will struggle with the tests. Tests are 100 multiple choice questions and 4 short answer "essay" questions.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Instructor wants students to learn material, She shows a joyful passion for the subject and makes the learning enjoyable and a fun challenge. She knows her stuff.

    Course highlights:

The anatomy of the brain at what each section is responsible for. Very intriguing. I also enjoyed the different experiments we were individually responsible for including case studies, surveys, naturalistic observation.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be ready to learn. Even for the student sho thinks they know a lot about psychology. this is very informative and class participation is a must. Very friendly instructor amd want to see help the student earn success.
