    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This course is very similar to any other composition course aside from the course theme being specific. Other than the average things you are taught in composition, this course focused largely on race, gender, and class. The reason I wouldn't recommend this course is because outside of race, gender, and class there is no other material. Nearly anything done in this course involves those three themes which gets extremely tedious.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were the documentaries which often had people lecturing about race, gender and class. Many of the things you would learn from this course involves the social awareness of race, gender and class in society and its impacts and meanings.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

If you are considering this course you must have an open mind to social topics such as race, gender and class due to the course being very heavily based on those concepts.

    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Professor Rogers is a great teacher. He will answer any questions that you have. He is experienced and knowledgeable about writing and has a passion for it!

    Course highlights:

I learned how to structure a research paper and how to critically analyze text.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

I would advise asking as many questions as possible and turn your papers in early so you can receive feedback and make corrections accordingly.

    | Would highly recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Ms. Baines is an amazing teacher. This class is an extremely basic class and I would compare it to your sophomore year in high school. Although it is very easy, the class remains very interesting the entire time.

    Course highlights:

After taking this course, I learned a lot more regarding MLA formatting and the overall structuring needed when you write an essay.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

There isn't much studying to do in this class, you will receive a summary/response assignment where all you do is read an article and write a summary about it as well as your response. Do the assignments and you will get an A.
