Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

EDA 205 is a great introduction to the education field and will help you understand whether teaching is the right path for you.

    Course highlights:

One of the requirements of the course was to tutor at a school in the area, which was one of the highlights for me. The tutoring totaled about 8 hours for the entire semester, so it is easy to fit into your schedule. Throughout the class, we learned a lot of background about education and different teaching and management strategies for different grade levels and subjects.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

In this course you should be willing to work in groups very often. Every class has some type of activity or project that helps you learn about different teaching strategies. Be sure to stay on top of the readings, because they are very important to the midterm and finals.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This teacher was the most amazing teacher I have ever had; not only did you learn all of the required material, you also learned how to apply it to every day life. This class not only educated me, but prepared me for my future.

    Course highlights:

How to create lesson plans, treat all students with respect, how to be an amazing teacher, and my favorite was how to teach all of the students. It is so important that we understand all people aren't the same, and all students have different ways of learning.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you do all of the assignments, they really help you so much. Also, make sure you read the full text of the assigned pages in the book for your own help.
