    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I felt that a lot of the assignments were not relevant and it was a lot of busy work. I love writing but if it were not a requirement I would not have taken the course.

    Course highlights:

They do refine some of your critical thinking and analysis skills in this course.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Keep up on your readings and assignments. There are a lot of them and if you fall behind it is hard to keep up. Also, just listen to what she wants and cater your assignments specifically to what she says. One thing I will say is that she gives feedback, utilize it.

    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course for the simple fact of the in depth understanding you will get of the rhetorical devices and how to analyze them and use it in your own papers. I also find that the amount of group work in the class not only helps your upcoming papers, but prepares you as a college freshman to handle group assignments in the future.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this class was learning a different approach to rhetorical devices as opposed to my AP Literature class that I took at my high school literally and hour before. The different approach helped my better analyze works in my high school class and write better argumentative papers.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

It would be best to have yor draft done for at least one of the rough draft workshops that are given for every paper. You are able to get feedback from peers and the professor and it helps a lot. If going into this class, be sure to ask any questions you have for rhetoric because it will be answered thoroughly.

    Course highlights:

It's too soon to tell but so far we're reading Into the Wild and that's pretty interesting.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do all of the reading and attend all of the classes.
