Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I don't only recommend the course because of its material, but also because it is a hands on course, which also allows you to work with others. I think that is fundamental when it comes to a class. Sitting in front of a professor the whole time can get very boring when there is no engagement whatsoever.

    Course highlights:

The labs we did, especially the anatomy or dissecting section. It is quite interesting learning about animals and all there parts and how we are all related in some sort and how others animals relate due to similar characteristics.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't take this course lite, it isn't super stressful. But also have to put the time in because exams are very heavy on material.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Very interesting ,you get to examine different kinds of plants and flowers, watch different cell structures under the microscope, watch cricket behavior, and dissect different plants and animals.

    Course highlights:

I learned about cell structure, plant diversity, classification of plants/animals on the phylogenetic tree, population genetics, speciation, natural selection, tree structure, and animal body structure.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Consider tutoring and SI sessions if you're struggling. Also, most importantly try to make friends with your professor so she can remember you and be as helpful as possible!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The professor is wonderful! She is always there when I don't understand things and she explains the material well.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course was going into the study environment and learning new species and about the different communities.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Always put your best work in. Never feel stupid to ask a question because not everyone learns it the same way.
