    | Would recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Some of the materials covered in this class were a review in a way, but you do go into more detail with each and every concept. As long as you pay attention in lecture and review your notes before next lecture, you will be able to at least get a B in this class. I do recommend it because the things you learn are very interesting and it is a required class for biology majors.

    Course highlights:

This class starts with the most fundamental concept, which is partly chemistry: atoms and molecules. Then it moves on to the macro molecules, cellular respiration, photosynthesis, enzymes, cell division, and that is where it really went in more depth. Additionally, in the end of the quarter, we learned about the basic things to know about DNA.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Review your notes before the next lecture and make sure that you actually understand what you wrote. If there are things that aren't clear to you, go to office hours. Do not wait till the last minute to learn everything. Reading the book really does help.
