Not too easy. Not too difficult.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I hated chemistry in high school, but when I took this course chemistry became one of my favorite subjects. It's fun to get to do actual experiments and learn how chemistry is a part of our everyday lives.

    Course highlights:

I learned all about the atom and how it was discovered. I learned things that relate to our everyday lives such as how energy is produced and processed.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to do the homework because the problems from there are similar to that on the exams. Also, make sure to go to class because if you do miss one lecture, you will miss out on a lot.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course since the professor was fair in all aspects. Even though the tests were somewhat challenging, Dr. Hill told the class what to expect on the test a lecture beforehand.

    Course highlights:

I was able to learn how to name different chemicals and use VSEPR theory while using the octet rule. We would have to remember the different geometry and shapes in order to see if it was polar or non polar depending on the charges

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I think in order to succeed in this course, you would have to actually do the homework even though it is not required since some of the questions on the tests are very similar to homework questions. He goes over the questions in the lecture, so it would not be as complicated.
