    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Really enjoyed the course besides the 8AM Tuesday and Thursday lectures. The content itself is a little boring, but DO NOT underestimate the material. You cannot go in there and hope to ride the open-book midterms. Read the books beforehand! Otherwise you'll end up with below average grades. The tests are not hard; it's just too similar to the text. The final is completely different. It is a lot easier for me since I understood the material. Use a point 7 font for those 2 pages! Projects and discussions were easy. You learn how to work in groups. It's a really great thing to be carrying on for the next four or so years of your college career.

    Course highlights:

I definitely learned the importance of teamwork. If one person does not contribute, it make the rest of the job harder to do. They want you to learn this lesson too. Going in with this knowledge would probably help a lot. The business stuff you learn actually comes back to you in the future. Remember the economic concepts as well as laws and general policies.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the book before the midterm. Talk to the professor (I asked him for a letter of recommendation) (he also teaches BUS 107) Try to understand the material for the final Pure memorization will not work at the end since that's just how the class is structured.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Business 10 with Professor Singh is an eye opening class not only are you learning the basic concepts of business, but you also encounter real life experiences from his past.

    Course highlights:

The best highlight was learning how to build your own business from making a professional presentation regarding our service and product to adjusting realistic numbers to make our company efficient.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

You need to go every discussion those are points and try to go to every lecture because there is pop quizzes due to the low attendance. Read assign chapters makes midterms and final easier.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course, although it is required for business major, but it is a class that provides a lot of information needed to know in order to succeed in the business field including basic knowledge of managing and accounting, different types of business, etc. The course also required each student to get into groups and create a business plan along with a presentation. It is a very good practice for those who are interested in creating your own business. Overall, the course is a great opportunity to step into a business world where there are a lot of things you need to know about. What you will learn from the course might also apply to life as well.

    Course highlights:

The highlights would be working as a group on a business plan. Basically, we are creating our own business and we need to know all the steps and knowledge before presenting them to the class, or possible investors. I learned how to manage a business, how to choose a company, get to know some knowledge of accounting and financing, and other areas like risks and opportunities in the business field.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Never procrastinate until the end of the course. Take good notes for each chapter that will be on the midterm/final because you need them to get a better grade. Pay attention to vocabularies and theories in the book.
