Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this professor he explains clearly what he wants in the paper and is very straightforward. His office hours are the best ways to get help and points out what you need the most on strengthening your paper.

    Course highlights:

The highlights were the course was knowing the difference between a concept and a profile essay which were both hard to distinguish but the professor made it a clear reference about the differences.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't procrasinate your essay till the very last minute, I find this statement an overstatement and cliche but its true. Just take a few minutes each day before due date and work on it day by day. This will get you the best results

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I highly recommend this course as it was one of the best courses I have ever taken at UCR. The class was fun, the course was challenging yet exciting, and the professor made this class so worthwhile. Professor Stamp really cares about his students and instead of strictly going by guidelines he adds his own personality to make this class very interesting.

    Course highlights:

We wrote four essays over the course of ten weeks. The essays included remembered events, concept, compare and contrast, and a debate. We read from our class textbook as well as a novel. The highlights of this course was diving deeper into writing essays.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you do your readings! Go to the office hours because not only will you see a different side of the course, Professor Stamp will be open to helping you in different ways and even be down to just talk.
