Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this class because Professor Bardeen is a wonderful teacher. He cares about the student's success, and will make sure that you fully understand the concepts that he reviews.

    Course highlights:

Chemistry 1B starts to go into a more in-depth analysis of the fundamentals of chemistry. The concept of bonds are explored in a more detailed manner.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to go over the practice midterms/final that he gives you. That is the best study guide that you could ever have.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This was the most engaging course I have taken so far at UC Riverside. The class wasn't easy but it was possible. The best advice I could give would be to attend EVERY lecture as well as go to office hours at least twice a week. The professor likes to see familiar faces, and he his extra helpful to those he sees frequently. This course was not super conceptual. Once I understood how to break down the equations, the rest of the class was smooth sailing.

    Course highlights:

It was the first A I received in college so this was a great feeling. I learned many things that carried immediately over to the next course in the general chemistry series.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Take your time, go to class, and attend office hours.

The professor makes it easier to ask questions when needed. His style of teaching is really enjoyable.

    Course highlights:

I'm still taking this course, but learning these new chemistry topics is extremely interesting.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

The professor is really helpful, if you have questions don't hesitate to ask.
