Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it teaches useful and interesting information. You learn about what happens in your body microscopically and why your body runs the way it does. Bio is also a very useful course for any major.

    Course highlights:

One of the highlights of this course was learning how similar cellular respiration is to photosynthesis. I learned that they way we create energy is very alike to how plants create food.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Pay attention during lecture and do the readings, no matter how boring it is. This way, you will never fall behind. It is best to do the readings before lecture, this way you will spend less time being confused and more time learning more in depth.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because even though it was challenging, I did leave the course feeling as though I learned a lot. Even though times may be tough, Professor Martins-green and Professor Nothnagele do invest much time in their students and want to see them succeed.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were the Write-Ups (Reports) that they made us do. Even though it does sound annoying in the beginning, trust me when I say it really isn't hard. With that, the write ups actually benefited me in my learning process.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

The advice that I would give students considering this course is to PAY ATTENTION. Many of the things that were on the midterms and finals were not straight from the book, but rather, things that they mentioned in class. Take good notes and go to office hours for extra help and clarification.
