Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Data structures are an important part of Computer Science and is used quite heavily in the industry. Even if you're working on web applications as a Front-End Engineer, you MUST know this inside out. Javascript, which I consider to be much easier than C++, Java, Python, or any other programming language still uses objects and array data structures. I enjoyed Professor Linard's lectures and I am still using these lessons every day.

    Course highlights:

I learned much about linked-lists, trees, arrays, and algorithms to traverse/manipulate those structures. He also gave some pointers on how to design C++ classes to create these structures and what a typical method would be for each structure.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Even though I only spent 3-5 hours a week, these concepts aren't very easy to understand for most people. Asking professor Linard or his teaching assistants questions will be a much faster way to learn the material if you are stuck. Definitely go to office hours and you should always start your assignments as soon as they are available, as I have heard other students spending many more hours rushing to finish an assignment right before the due date.
