    | Would highly recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

McNamara is a great professor! She was one of my first professors at UCR. Her teaching style and tests prepared me for the rest of my professors at UCR. She has powerpoints uploaded before class, which you can print it out and write on (not fill in). Her powerpoints are thorough and precise. The videos she showed in class are relevant to the materials she had taught in class. She explained the videos' and course concepts well. I would highly recommend students to not purchase the book, study the powerpoint slides, go to class and pay attention to the additional information she presents in class, as well as the videos she showed in class. Be prepared to take notes. Ask her if you can record her, that will be beneficial for you--it will help you absorb information better as well. Good Luck!

    Course highlights:

Professor McNamara focuses on the moral versus immoral values in the medical field and as a person, in general. Her exams allow you to expand your thoughts because you have to write your answers out and explain your statements, using how and why.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Go to class! Although, her powerpoints are helpful for tests, if you want the higher C+ and above, go to class, record the lectures, and take notes.
