Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It is so interesting learning about the inequality of various sexes across the world.

    Course highlights:

We learned about how gender intersects with race, ethnicity, and class. We looked at examples of this here in the US and compared it with examples from other countries.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Attend every lecture and take good notes. Go to office hours if you have any questions, she is actually very sweet.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Intro to Gender and Sexuality was completely eye opening for me. In the course, we were able to connect our readings to current events and learn about the start up of feminism. This course was eye opening because I was pregnant at the time so I learned about gender norms, gender equality, and feminism. I was able to apply what I learned into my parenting and also how I perceive/interact with others.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course was the mandatory events we had to attend. Apart of our grade was attending any 3 events on campus or in the community that were related to culture, LGBT, or feminism. I never attended any type of events on campus and this allowed me to participate more on campus and learn about the issues or successes within each group and how I can continue being involved.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I recommend every student to attend this class with an open mind and attend more than the three mandatory events because this class does apply to real current events. This course has helped create a deeper connection with opposite genders of me, students of different cultures, and the community I am in.

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it's important to understand what it means to be gender inclusive, it's important to understand gender identities, politics, and it's important to understand feminism and sexuality.

    Course highlights:

Through this course I learned how to be gender inclusive and I grasped a better understanding of sexuality, feminism, and identity politics.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would advise students to know that this course requires a lot of reading and writing.
