    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it for people who would want an interesting, fun class that is not extremely difficult and gives you insight on a subject that is not normally discussed

    Course highlights:

Of course the knowledge of this very undiscovered civilization but it also quite humbling to realize how little we humans actually know about our history

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

There will be a textbook assigned to this course but it is mostly a brief overview most of the material covered is during class so make sure to take good notes that means more then is put on the slides

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Cultural anthropology is the study of different cultures. This includes their traditions, religion, gender roles, and beliefs (as a society). We studied documents, films, and jargon that are used within the field. The professor was also very helpful and clearly answered any questions we had.

    Course highlights:

Every day that I attended class, I was fascinated by something that we sometimes bypass. For example, we learned about tourism and its effects on the natives. Marketing and advertising differs within the different regions of the world. We also discussed about power and privilege within a society.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

In order to succeed, do not memorize the vocabulary; instead understand what each one is and its effect/relations with the society or with other terms. Keep up on the reading because they give a further understanding to the topics that will be discussed. Also, go into this class open minded and if you disagree with anything that you wish to discuss, do so with respect.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

GO TO OFFICE HOURS! The TA's are extremely helpful when it comes to the short analytical papers in class.
