    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Very good teacher that doesn't only use slides and is available outside class frequently, but midterms are very time-constraint

    Course highlights:

I learned to keep my head up after bombing a midterm

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Keep asking questions and doing work

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course is certainly challenging and will push your study limits. Study every day and do many practice questions from the book and online. While the class is challenging it is the best class at preparing you for future chemistry courses.

    Course highlights:

I learned in depth knowledge of the basics of chemistry and new ways to look at different problems.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Even if everyone says it, DO NOT PROCRASTINATE STUDYING. While he does not give mandatory homework, you should do it, for the questions on the exams are similar.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would highly recommend Dr. Eichler! He's a very entertaining lecturer and he really does his best to engage us in lectures. Not only that, he does a lot of research in education and his research has been nationally recognized and funded, so he knows what he is doing!

    Course highlights:

I had to take this course as a required science course for my major. But Dr. Eichler made it a breeze! His grading is very fair, his lectures are entertaining, is very accessible at office hours, and would often allow us to do practice problems in class so we get a thorough walk through of what we're doing and learning.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Go to his office hours! I would also do practice problems from the book and really work on understanding concepts, rather than just memorizing formulas.
