Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course is actually required to take. It's the first history class that you take at McCarthy which is pretty exciting considering the fact that freshman don't get to take a history course. It was my least favorite of the other social study courses but that's only because I personally prefer U.S. history, economics, and government to more of a broader spectrum like a World History course.

    Course highlights:

World History was pretty interesting. You cover such a wide variety of different ancient kingdoms, dynasties, and cultures. I learned about the very first civilizations. This helped me to see how human civilization has evolved through innovation as well as through trial and error.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

I highly recommend doing all of worksheets. The worksheets are typically word for word whatever is said in the textbook and they're really not that hard to do. Do them thoroughly and not haphazardly or else you won't get much out of them. They helped me prepare for quizzes and tests without having to cram the night before. Try to read the sections and chapters too.
