Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course for others to take because it covers all aspects of Hawaiian history. Starting from the beginning of our creation here on earth, to present day problems. I really enjoyed this class.

    Course highlights:

I learned the struggles that our kupuna faced, but through it all we are doing okay with what happened.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If you have a passion or urge to want to learn about Hawaiian history I would strongly consider taking a course like this.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

My teacher was probably the best teacher I've ever had. He was very strict, very serious, but I always knew it was because he cared about where we ended up. It was just about the money, and the job for him. It was about his students learning their own culture, and helping educating them to the bet of his abilities.

    Course highlights:

I learned the specific dates of Hawaiian History. Not only that, but I learned how Hawaii first began to connect to Foreign lands, and people. Their culture, people, language and traditions have never been the same since. Although there was much suffering and sorrow for the Hawaiian nation and it's people, they, we, nonetheless continue to thrive.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Always do the readings when ask to read them, and never be afraid to speak up about what you know. You would be suprised at how much people don't know, and how much you know.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it because I had a great teacher that was passionate about Hawaiian culture. I am currently enrolled in this class and so far, it is a really fun class.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about the Hawaiian monarchy and the former Aliʻi (chiefs) of Hawaii. I enjoyed learning about Hawaii's past because i feel that when we learn from our past, whats learned can be applied to the future.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be sure to complete all assignments because we don't have much tests. This is how you will receive points.
