Not too easy. Not too difficult.
Course Overview:
Most people don't enjoy series or sequences and I totally get that. Its hard. It was also very repetitive. the first half of the quarter covered the same thing the end of calculus 1 about derivatives and integrals. the 2nd half of the quarter was just determining convergence and divergence of series. Some of the problems can get complicated so visiting office hours really helped if i was struggling with any on section.
Course highlights:
My Highlight was the teachers and peers. They were hilarious and SO intelligent. I feel like a classroom atmosphere like the one I had helped me be an overall better student in the class. In high school I was intimidated by series because I could just not figure out how to add an infinite amount of numbers together, however by the end of this class became significantly better at this.
Hours per week:
6-8 hours
Advice for students:
definitely form a study group, the class is fast paced so it helps discussing and conferring with other people on the subject. Also skipping class is not a good idea since we learn a new section everyday of class--its important to not get behind because its difficult to catch back up on a quarter system. Lastly go to office hours. Teachers and T.A's are there to help you so use them.
Not too easy. Not too difficult.
