    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class was a requirement for me so I had to take it. I would not recommend anyone to take this class for fun. The material is dense. I had to study a lot for this class and sometimes had to neglect my other classes.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course was towards the end where we were learning pathways. I though it was see the function of proteins, what was created in each cycle, and how the cycles were related.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

I would say review the material everyday! Go to office hours if you do not understand something. You do not want to get behind. If anything in this course you want to be ahead of the class.

    | Would recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Tienson's finals are notoriously hard for a reason. However, throughout the course she is fair and gives out more than enough practice problems to get ready for exams. There are also abundant extra credit opportunities.

    Course highlights:

I personally love biochemistry, so the focus on proteins was great.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

STUDY! and do the practice problems. Don't kill yourself if you do badly- everyone does, that's why there's a great curve.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would not recommend taking biochem with her, especially if you are a biochem major. She does not know the material well enough to teach and does not prepare you well for the biochem series.

    Course highlights:

There was no highlight in this course.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Study on your own. Review the study questions she posts every week and don't fall behind.
