    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course is not difficult as long as you take the time to do all the work and pay attention in class. It is manageable to obtain an A- at least if you do all the practice exams and problems.

    Course highlights:

Li is an amazing lecturer and is very enthusiastic and helpful. Her course is so much easier than Lavelle's course.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Do all the problems, do all the practice exams, and pay attention in class

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It was a difficult class. Its hard to make chemistry interesting and Lavelle was a very smart professor but kind of dry and boring

    Course highlights:

The basics of chemistry - atomic and molecular structures, trends in the periodic table

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Study groups worked well for this class. The professor reads through the slides and its up to the student to put in a little more work to understand content

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Lavelle is a fair and square professor. However, this course was difficult because of the curving system and that everyone was competing to get an A in the class. The class was too competitive and there was a lot going on.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course was that it was curved, so based on the averages, if you scored above or below, your grade would be able to be boosted up a bit. I learned a lot in this class, and it really prepared me for the rest of the Chem series in the future.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Really spend a lot of time studying in this class and do not rely on last minute studying, as it will really screw you over for your final grade.
