Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class because not only is the class interesting, but the teacher teaches in such a way that helps students better engage and develop a better understanding on the topic being covered in class.

    Course highlights:

I learned that there are four lobes in the brain. Each one controlling a different part of you: frontal lobe: memory and personality assets ; parietal lobe: controls movement and balance; occipital lobe: visual processing; temporal lobe; auditory processing. She taught us about a man who had a metal rod stuck in his head after an accident. Fortunately, he survived, but his personality changed and he became a vulgar man. Apparently the rod was lodge into his frontal lobe, which focuses on personality assets.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Take it to see whether you are interested in psych. I only tried it because I was considering it as a major.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The teacher makes it worth it, with jokes when necessary, but also a serious tone with a message at the end of each lecture.

    Course highlights:

I have a difficult time learning about the human body, but I was able to grasp the concept of the amygdala. That was something I was able to not only spell, but the function as well to the human brain.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Study the notes! Put the time and effort to look back at your notes and try to understand them, not just memorize them. If any questions then talk to the teacher or the teacher assistants.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Professor Oppenheimer is a great lecturer. He teaches the subject beyond the bounds of what you expect and engages his audience by talking about things that matter to them.

    Course highlights:

I thoroughly enjoyed his lectures. The way he spoke about anything made it interesting. He is also a very funny person and he always wants to keep his students happy. I learned a lot about myself in the class, such as: how to deal with stress, how to study for a test, how to approach others, and so forth.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would advise people to really study the material and understand how to apply it.
