    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course is not only fascinating, but also important for anyone who needs or wants to be knowledgable about global politics and finance. I would very highly recommend this course.

    Course highlights:

The syllabus was extremely thorough, so I learned a lot in this course. One highlight was learning about Polanyi’s three principles of economic integration, and another was studying why Western Europe and not China became the founding core of the modern world economy.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Participating in discussions (called labs for this course) definitely helps understand and process the information taught in lecture, as well as tie multiple points together. Also, doing more in depth research on one's own about topics mentioned in lecture will help, since exams are all written answers, so the more you know the better.
