    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The course is a lot of fun. Professor Jepson is funny and frequently makes a lot of jokes. The courseload isn't too bad either. If you read the articles, the midterm and final should be a breeze.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course was the interesting subject matter. I also enjoyed watching the films he displayed (Cuckoo's Nest) and the way Projessor Jepson lectures.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to read the articles, it will help greatly on the midterm and final. Also, don't be afraid to ask your TA exactly how they want the written assignments to be organized.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

If you are really good at writing essays and have other light classes, then this couse will probably be ok. If you can't keep up with the required readings, and the articles the professor will email to the class, then you might suffer on the pop quizzes.

    Course highlights:

What I really enjoyed learning in class were the sections on race and class, especially when talking about systematic oppression. Gaining a sociological perspective on the issues that affect the country was very interesting.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Just read everything. Don't leave any article out. Make time in your schedule to sit down and read through everything. That should help with the pop quizzes and the essays.
