Additionally, UCLA has over 1,000 organizations on campus, thus catering to numerous individual interests of the students. As a result, students are able to engage in a particular concentration of their interests, for various organizations under one umbrella topic can encompass and implement different aspects.
Students really try to thoroughly understand the platforms of USAC candidates, thus paving the way for them to vote in the actual presidential elections and become well-informed voters.

UCLA also has a strong political community. Campaigning for the Social Justice Referendum allowed me to see the political knowledge and activism of various student/cultural organizations.
