    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It's a required course, but I heard that Garg was a better professor!

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about the different reactions that they often encounter in organic chemistry that helped me a lot on the DAT.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Practice and study a lot! It's a lot of memorizing and learning small tricks to help you better memorize how to write out reactions. It's helpful to study together with friends because you can explain different any reactions and concepts to each other if you don't understand. Office hours are helpful if you really don't get certain problems, but they often get quite crowded so it just depends on your professor and how many people go to office hours.

    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I love organic chemistry. Just do all the practice problems, discussion problems, and concept focus questions and you'll get an A.

    Course highlights:

I learned real world biological applications of organic molecules. It really emphasized the importance of this class.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Get as many past midterms and finals as possible.

    Course Overview:

Great professor, he takes a lot of time to create resources for undergraduates to use and succeed!

    Course highlights:

The laboratories were super exciting! Learning to synthesize compounds blew my mind!

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If you just put in 4 hours a week and don't fall behind, you should be fine!
