    | Would highly recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course because it not only talks about why people at different stages of life commit suicide, but it also talks about what we as individuals can do to make others that are suicidal feel like they're not alone and provide them with sufficient resources.

    Course highlights:

This course talked mainly about the different risk factors of suicide, including mental disorders, trauma, age, and ethnicity. I learned that just because society decides to ignore an issue does make the issue insignificant or non-existent.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Read all assigned readings, except for earlier versions of research articles.
