    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I came into ucla thinking about being a linguistics major until I took this class. It is incredibly boring, but Sportiche really does love the subject. Take advantage of his office hours-- I don't think people often do. The class is just homework assignments, a final, and a short paper. Do your work and you will get an A.

    Course highlights:

Our final was all open note and the professor uploads typed course notes online.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Read through all the course notes before the final.

its an easy GE. takes up a lot of time though due to weekly assignments. online lecture so you can do the class at your own pace

    Course highlights:

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would watch the lecture videos on the weekend before at 2x speed. Also go to TA office hours for help on quiz questions

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The material is interesting and not too dense. It was an online course, so it was pretty easy.

    Course highlights:

I learned the basics of language. A lot of grammar stuff.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Go to office hours because they're helpful. He basically gives you the answers there.
