Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Any class can be taught by any professor, but who the professor is, will judge whether the class is worth taking it or not most of the time. Professor Esdin is passionate, enthusiastic, and a student-lover. He is clear with every single lecture, and he makes everything seem way too easy than it actually is. There were too many times during class where I thought to myself "Is this material as easy as he makes it? I don't remember it being this clear back in high school?" He's just that kind of guy.

    Course highlights:

I definitely gained a huge stamp on me wanting to continue pursuing pre-med. Already, by the end of my freshman year, I have seen to many people already drop out of pre-med because of the competitive track, but this course reminded me of why I love the life science courses more than I do any other subject. Regarding what I learned in the course, it was a heavy emphasis on cells, tissues, and organ systems.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Being a flipped classroom, this class does require a lot of work and pre-class reading and note taking. So make sure to do this. Having this ready before class will definitely prepare you a lot more for the tests.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

He is really nice but tends to lecture as if you already have a general understanding of the material. If you don't, i highly recommend recording the lectures

    Course highlights:

Professor Roberts is really approachable and he makes class interesting. A big portion of the course is focusing on neurons and transmission.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Try not to procrastinate because the information builds up, record the lectures, go to class because you will get a sense of what he stresses and what you need to know well for the test, he also gives clues to potential essays that will be on the exams.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it because the material is very interesting and the professor is very passionate about what he is teaching.

    Course highlights:

It was not easy, but I learned a lot and I learned how to study effectively for an LS class.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Study everything and go to office hours.
