    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The teacher teaches straight out of the book, students are better off learning from the book which can be difficult for some or pleasant for others who learn better independently without relying on lecture information.

    Course highlights:

Eigenvalues and Eigenvectors were definitely the funnest thing to learn about. It made intuitive sense unlike most of the things in this course.Overall, after the first midterm things were bearable to learn and even exciting.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't go to lectures, just review sessions before midterms and finals. Get a good TA or find one who is. Don't think your stuck with a bad TA, make the effort of learning the office hours and even discussion times for a good TA. I made the mistake of giving up on TA's after having a horrible one, yet heard stories of so much success coming from TA's brilliant advice.
