    Course Overview:

    The class is actually quite interesting and the material is easy to comprehend.

    Course highlights:

    The book The Trobriander's of Papua New Guinea was worth the read and was largely focused on in the midterm so read it!

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

    Go to discussion and pay attention to the themes and examples from the literature that your TA points out. They will be on the tests.

    The professor was clear and approachable in her lectures, a hands-on approach in class

    Course Overview:

    I would recommend the course to anyone who finds the evolution of our speech across cultures interesting.

    Course highlights:

    I thought the course was so interesting, you learn things about the way that we have been speaking since we were little and learn why we do that and it really opens up your eyes.

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    Make sure you do all of the readings, do not fall behind because you will struggle. She is so kind, but you need to do your readings.
