    | Would highly recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I loved this course because it wasn't like a traditional lecture. Class was on Monday and Wednesday. Mondays would have lectures about musical terminology, history, and background. Each Wednesday, guest performers would come in to play samples of their music and teach us about music. The lectures, performances, and discussion sections were lively and engaging, making the class fun to go to.

    Course highlights:

My highlights were that the course pushed me to go to concerts (we had to write 3 concert reports). I went to some amazing performances that I otherwise wouldn't have known about had it not been for this class.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

It helps if you have a musical background, but it's okay if you don't have any. It's supposed to be a beginner's course. I have some musical background, so the course was extremely easy for me. My friends without musical backgrounds that also took this course didn't find it to be too difficult either.
