    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Pretty chill class, would recommend if youre looking for an easy GE to take. Go to the test bank to get old midterms since the professor resuses a lot of the questions. Make sure to study for the weekly quizzes though! Would recommend.

    Course highlights:

The highlights were that the course was relatively easy and everything was podcasted. The powerpoints were uploaded online so you just have to study those to do well in the course.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Study the old midterms and know everything on the powerpoints for both the lectures and labs.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it is on the easier side for science GE's offered at UCLA, and I personally found the topic of the course very interesting.

    Course highlights:

As I mentioned, I personally found the topic of this course very interesting for I felt as though it was very relevant to me and the rest of us residing here in Los Angeles. I was able to learn a lot about the reasons as to why the air pollution in Los Angeles is the way it is and how earthquakes occur in what regions of the nation.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

In order to succeed in this class, I recommend students to pay close attention during lab sections, for there is a decent amount of review on the general topics discussed as well as further discussion of specific topics only covered in lab. I also recommend students to keep up with the slides posted on CCLE and to utilize the practice exams given by the professor, for those were the most important study tools for the class.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

She is caring and she offers to help if you are struggling. There are also many extra credit opportunities available for people to make up.

    Course highlights:

I learned the basic principles of the ocean along with features of different marine biological animals.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't procrastinate! I suggest staying on track because there are assignments here and there that can seem overwhelming if done all at once.
