    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I am a Biology major, and took this course as an upper division GE. I absolutely loved it. Professor Olivieri does an incredible job of teaching acting techniques to those who do not have any sort of a background in acting or film. The material studied in this class was captivating, and extremely manageable in terms of difficulty.

    Course highlights:

I learned about Stanislavski's acting techniques--the foundation of all acting today. I learned how to use each of these techniques in the context of different genres of film, and I got an in-depth history lesson on some of the world's most beloved films.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be sure to watch all of the lectures the days they are assigned. Do not skimp on the reading, as it is essential to understand the material and do well in the written assignments.
