    | Would highly recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

The professor is very lively and friendly. She is concerned with giving material that students can grasp. The material itself was interesting.

    Course highlights:

The highlights was learning how to recognize certain film edits and now have the ability to spot them. Now that I know the tricks of the trade, I know how television and movies (especially reality TV) can cater to my thoughts and emotions. In this course, you learn about the grammar of editing and how to recognize the types of edits. It is not hands on, learning how to edit material. You basically listen to a lecture and watch some clips about the edit.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Reading the book is a little helpful, but not really necessary for this teacher. Almost everything you need to know is covered in lecture.
