    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course was a requirement for my major. I would recommend taking this class if you are genuinely interested in cell biology. If you lack interest, this class is going to be very difficult to pass since it is packed with a lot of information and lots of work. Having said that, Professor Coller tries her best to make the lectures engaging and interesting. She is always available and willing to help, so take full advantage of the office hours.

    Course highlights:

We learned about the details of cellular processes and techniques required to study these processes.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

You have to put in the work and read the papers prior to class since they make up a great chunk of the exams.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The professor is very clear and straightforward in the presentation of the material

    Course highlights:

Extracellular matrix and the role of cytoskeleton

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Study everyday so things do not pile up as you study for the midterm. Also, it is a very experimental course so pay attention to the methods in the papers
